NESWÉN EL FORN

Publication

Translated from Arabic as literally “Bakery Women” (which in Arabic contains gossip-loving folk connotations), this virtual magazine is a satirical take on Lebanese housewives, imagined and conceived by five Lebanese graphic designers. Photomontage and collage were techniques used in order to approach some of the absurd and weird stories that these housewives disseminate, along with Arabic typographic treatments which helped to center this Latin magazine in a middle-eastern context.
